I decided to take a little time of work between Christmas and New Year to catch up on some personal projects and blast that damn unfinished objects pile, why do I leave everything to the last minute. On the plus side I got quite far and also managed to start and complete a new project. I’m hoping to do at least one complete new project a week, so far it’s working!
(15/365) – Finished another scarf and the old yarn stash is slowly being used up and working on my tension.
(16/365) – Started on Bruce the Unicorn which I bought from SincerelyLouise a few months ago!
(17/365) – I didn’t get many craft gifts this year, which was actually a good thing because my craft room is packed to the hilt! But I did get this lovely book from my parents of vintage knitting patterns from the 50s to the 70s. Have a little 60s knitted dress already lined up for my me made make list next year!
(18/365) More late night stitching on Bruce
(19/365) – Finished all the main pieces now just to stitch together and finish!
(20/365) – Finished my last me made item of the year. Considering I started this a year ago, I thought it best to finish the year out with this project. Plus it’s winter (albeit not a very cold one yet) but the pattern on this looks like tiny little snow capped mountains, so I named this the A Snowcapped Romance dress. I will be blogging a little more about these pieces but it turns out I’ve put a little weight over the year since starting these, so picture taking will have to wait until I can get back into some of these clothes!
(21/365) – Last night I managed to finish Bruce with about two hours to spare, thus being my final completed project of the year. It’s not perfect but I’m pretty proud of my first knitted taxidermy head!
