Fabric Haul Part 2

Hello and welcome to fabric haul part 2. So as I mentioned in my last post a did a little bit of shopping in the sales after Christmas before enforcing my no more material (personal not work) until my most of my stash in used. The stuff that I haven’t shown in these posts because they have been sitting in my pile a little longer, I will try and name the source as long as I can remember.

First up is the Fairy Godmother

Square Cotton in Tangerine. I had seen a similar fabric elsewhere but in black with white squares but then this popped up in the sale at ยฃ5.99 a metre so I got this instead. I think it’s safe to say with my recent purchases I’m no longer playing it safe and plain any more. The orange is a little more neon than I it looked but that’s one of the things about buying online sometimes the colour on your monitor can be out a little but it’s no biggie, I’m pretty sure I can work bright orange!
Then I hit up Fancy Moon.
So I ummed and ahhed over which colour way to get between the Alexander Henry Hearts and Bones Fabrics, so I got both. You can never have too many clothes with skulls on them I say, so light and dark version to go with whichever mood ๐Ÿ˜‰

And lastly Fabric Rehab.

After I placed my order with Fabric Rehab I received a message from the informing one of the fabrics I ordered was in two pieces and one had a faint line running through and asked if I still wanted these with an extra discount. So I took the offer, turns out the mark was very light and not through all the fabric so I can work round it. I ordered four fabrics from here, mainly for shirts for my holiday.

The first was this pineapple and coconut scented fabric, yes scented fabric!
1950s Sunglasses

Japanese Happy Animals in Pink

Retro Girl in Sunglasses

So that part two of my fabric haul and now most of the fabric has been washed and ready to iron and be made into fabulous clothes. I also picked up a copy of this months Love Sewing magazine which has some cool patterns perfect for my wardrobe including a skater dress pattern for knit fabric which I also want to start learning to sew with!
